It was the sound of laughter that initially captured my attention. The unmistakable sound of children’s laughter, emanating from an unknown source outside my apartment. The giggles provided a welcome respite from the tedium of the day, eliciting an immediate smile.
It is for them that those who advocate for the right to life strive against considerable adversity. Despite the efforts of pro-abortion forces in Washington, D.C. and our state capitals, we are prepared to consistently defend the rights of children to breathe, play, and laugh.
The termination of pregnancy permanently extinguishes the laughter, the childlike wonder, and the hope that are characteristic of childhood. The termination of pregnancy results in the demise of a unique and irreplaceable human being, leaving the mother to grieve the loss of her child. It denies fathers the opportunity to fulfill the noble role of fatherhood, and it deprives grandparents of their precious offspring.
Consequently, we persevere in the knowledge that our cause is just and that there are numerous individuals who depend on us. It is possible that the leaders of the technology industry may attempt to suppress our voices. Nevertheless, the eventual triumph of truth and justice is inevitable.
It is our intention to pursue this matter until every child is welcomed into life and protected under the law. We will apply ourselves assiduously and with enthusiasm at the state and federal levels to secure commonsense protections for preborn babies and their mothers.
Our movement is characterised by a sense of hope and love. It is our aspiration that the practice of abortion will become an unthinkable occurrence in our world. We hold both the mother and the child in our hearts, offering solace in the midst of despair. We aspire for every child to have the opportunity to flourish in freedom and peace.
