High time to peel back the veil and to expose late-term abortions for the horror that they are

Published on

I recall an occasion when I was engaged in the practice of radio journalism and listened to an individual espousing the viewpoint of an abortion advocate on the subject of late-term abortions.

She asserted that they were exceedingly rare and were only performed to save women’s lives.

It was only after undertaking independent research on the subject that I discovered that the majority of late-term abortions involved healthy babies born to healthy mothers. At that juncture, it is evident to any individual with the capacity to perceive that a woman is carrying a child, a child who, by all rights, should be permitted to be born.

It is my contention that this is a message that should be disseminated to the general public. The general public has not engaged in a comprehensive examination of the issue of abortion. The majority of the public’s knowledge on the subject may be derived from the news media, which often cite Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provider in the United States, as a reliable source.

It can be reasonably assumed that if a state’s constitution is amended to indicate that there are no limits on abortion, the late-term abortion rate will increase. It is a matter of great concern that there are abortionists who are willing to perform the procedure without any limits. The only impediment to their actions is the law.

The practice of late-term abortions represents a significant challenge for the abortion industry, which has sought to maintain a veil of secrecy surrounding this aspect of its operations. It is imperative to lift the veil of secrecy surrounding late-term abortions and to expose them for the atrocity that they represent.
