The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation has issued an urgent alert

Published on

In a surprising announcement, Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro has declared his intention to allow Pennsylvania’s contract with Real Alternatives to expire at the end of the year.

Real Alternatives oversees Pennsylvania’s Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services program, which provides funding for pregnancy resource centers, maternity homes, and adoption agencies across the state. Without this program, thousands of pregnant women in Pennsylvania could lose access to the comprehensive support and counseling they require during their pregnancies and for 12 months after.

It is imperative that we take action to reverse Governor Shapiro’s decision to cancel Real Alternatives’ contract. To do so, we must contact Governor Shapiro’s office and urge him to reconsider.

In addition, we must contact our state representatives and senators and urge them to take action to stop Real Alternatives’ contract from being cancelled. You can send an immediate message by clicking here. It is imperative that pregnant women throughout Pennsylvania receive the necessary support.

Now more than ever, our voices must resound with clarity and conviction, echoing the timeless truth that every human life is sacred and deserving of protection.

Across our state and beyond, the battle for life rages on multiple fronts. Legislative proposals, judicial decisions, and cultural shifts continue to shape the landscape of our society, presenting both opportunities and obstacles in our pursuit of a culture of life.

Yet, in the face of these challenges, we remain undeterred. We draw strength from our shared commitment to the inherent dignity of every human person, regardless of age, ability, or circumstance. With unwavering resolve, we press forward, knowing that the cause of life is just and noble, worthy of our steadfast dedication and unwavering resolve.

In this urgent hour, let us rally together as a formidable force for good, amplifying our voices and multiplying our efforts to protect and defend the most vulnerable among us. Let us reach out to our communities, our legislators, and our fellow citizens, urging them to join us in this vital mission.

The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation invites you to heed this urgent call, to stand with us in solidarity, and to advance the cause of life with courage and conviction. Together, let us be a beacon of hope in a world that so often seeks to extinguish the light of life.
