Assisted Suicide narrowly passes in Nevada, ask Gov. Joe Lombardo to veto SB239

Published on

The California State Assembly yesterday passed the Assisted Suicide bill, SB239, by a margin of 23 votes to 19. I am gratified to report that the opposition to this legislation was bipartisan, with all Republicans and five Democrats voting against it and in favour of life. Your endeavours were of considerable assistance. It is now necessary for you to take further action. The only means of preventing the bill from becoming law is to request that the Governor exercise his veto power. It is recommended that you contact the Governor at (775) 684-5670 and request that he veto SB239.
