National Right to Life Statement on Herschel Walker

Published on

The following is a statement from National Right to Life:

The anonymous attack on Herschel Walker is just the latest in a series of attempted Democratic character assassinations going back to the allegations against Justice Clarence Thomas. National Right to Life stands behind its endorsement of Herschel Walker. It is the Democratic candidate, Raphael Warnock, who has in fact voted to pay for thousands of abortions.

Herschel Walker wants to protect unborn children while Raphael Warnock wants to see them die through unlimited abortion. The Democratic party knows it cannot win on the issues, so we once again see an attempted character assassination, a tactic that is sadly all too often encouraged by a compliant and willing media.

The recent anonymous attacks on Herschel Walker, a candidate endorsed by National Right to Life, are not isolated incidents but rather part of a troubling trend of Democratic character assassinations. These tactics, reminiscent of past attempts to discredit conservative figures such as Justice Clarence Thomas, seek to undermine the credibility and integrity of individuals who hold views contrary to the Democratic Party’s agenda.

National Right to Life unequivocally stands behind its endorsement of Herschel Walker, recognizing his unwavering commitment to protecting the sanctity of human life, particularly the lives of unborn children. Walker’s advocacy for pro-life policies aligns closely with the values and principles championed by National Right to Life, making him a natural ally in the fight against abortion on demand.

In contrast, Walker’s opponent, Raphael Warnock, has a record of supporting policies that promote and fund abortion on a large scale. Warnock’s voting history reveals a consistent pattern of prioritizing abortion rights over the protection of innocent human life, including votes to allocate taxpayer funds for abortions. This stark contrast between the candidates’ positions on abortion underscores the high stakes of the election for pro-life advocates.

Herschel Walker’s commitment to protecting unborn children is not merely a political stance but a deeply held conviction rooted in his moral and ethical beliefs. He understands the inherent dignity and worth of every human life, from conception to natural death, and is dedicated to ensuring that the most vulnerable members of society are afforded the protection and respect they deserve.

The Democratic Party’s resort to character assassination tactics reflects a broader strategy to deflect attention from substantive policy issues and discredit opponents through smear campaigns. Rather than engage in honest debate and discussion, some Democrats choose to resort to personal attacks and misinformation to gain political advantage.

Unfortunately, these tactics are often enabled and amplified by a compliant and willing media, which uncritically disseminates false or misleading narratives without proper scrutiny. The media’s role in perpetuating character assassinations undermines the integrity of the political process and erodes public trust in democratic institutions.

In light of these developments, National Right to Life calls on voters to see through the smoke and mirrors of political rhetoric and carefully evaluate the candidates’ positions on critical issues such as abortion. The choice between Herschel Walker, a steadfast defender of life, and Raphael Warnock, a proponent of abortion on demand, could not be clearer. It is imperative that voters support candidates who uphold the sanctity of human life and reject those who would advocate for its destruction.
