Turnout critical to determining if Election Day proves to be a victory celebration for pregnant women and their babies in Pennsylvania

Pro-abortion Gov. Tom Wolf and pro-life state Sen. Scott Wagner

Election 2018 represents a study in contrasts in many states in the Union, none more than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

The two contenders for Governor, pro-life Republican Scott Wagner and pro-abortion Democrat Tom Wolf, could not be further apart on the ideological spectrum on the life issues.

Wagner supports a ban on brutal dismemberment abortions and late-term abortions. He backs a ban on taxpayer funding of abortion organizations, and supports legislation protecting preborn children and their mothers from the harm of abortion.

In sharp contrast, Wolf opposes any and all restrictions on abortion. He also wants Pennsylvanians’ hard-earned taxpayer dollars to be spent on abortion. This is not surprising since Wolf is a former Planned Parenthood clinic escort who has continued to raise money for the abortion giant.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Senate race in Pennsylvania features a candidate who votes the National Right to Life position all the time versus an incumbent who votes against the NRLC call to action the vast majority of the time.

Pro-life Congressman Lou Barletta and Pro-abortion Senator Bob Casey

Congressman Lou Barletta, a Republican, has a 100 % pro-life voting record, according to the NRLC scorecard. He supports a ban on taxpayer funding of abortion organizations. He supported strict constructionists Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh for the U.S. Supreme Court. He also supported the repeal of the anti-life provisions of the Obamacare health care law.

On the other side of the political fence, Democrat Bob Casey stands with Planned Parenthood. He has an 80 percent pro-abortion voting record in the 115th Congress. Casey opposes a ban on taxpayer funding of abortion organizations and opposed both Gorsuch and Kavanaugh for the High Court. He also opposes any effort to reverse Obamacare, which has been proven to provide subsidies for abortion.

Also at stake in Pennsylvania is the Keystone State’s majority pro-life Congressional delegation, along with pro-life majorities in the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and the state Senate.

Turnout will be critical to determining if Election Day proves to be a victory celebration for pregnant women and their babies in Pennsylvania.
