Pope Francis

In an address linked to the Italian observance of the “Day of Life,” Pope Francis said, “Every life is sacred. Let us promote a culture of life.”

Addressing thousands gathered in St. Peter’s Square Sunday morning , The Pontiff invoked the words of St. Teresa of Calcutta. “Life is beauty; admire it. Life is life; fight for it,” adding, “Let’s pray together for those children who are in danger of interruption of pregnancy and for those who are nearing the end of life.”

No one should be left alone, Pope Francis said, “and love defends the meaning of life.”
