National Right to Life: Voters Should Return Joyce to Congress

Dave Joyce Endorsed for Re-election to Ohio’s 14th District

The National Right to Life Committee, the nation’s major pro-life organization, today endorsed Congressman Dave Joyce for re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives. Joyce, a Republican, represents Ohio’s 14th Congressional District.

“National Right commends Dave Joyce for his 100% pro-life voting record, and thanks him for co-sponsoring our key legislative priorities,” said Douglas Johnson, National Right to Life legislative director. “Last year, Congressman Joyce voted to pass landmark legislation to protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion techniques.”

Joyce voted to repeal the Obama healthcare law–a law that created a national program of massive federal subsidies for insurance plans that cover abortion, and imposes rationing of lifesaving medical care.

Congressman Joyce demonstrated his opposition to taxpayer funding of abortion by co-sponsoring and voting in favor of the No Taxpayer Funding for Abortion Act (H.R. 7).

“National Right to Life believes that all voters who are concerned with the right to life and with the protection of the most vulnerable members of the human family should vote to return Congressman Joyce to Congress, so that he can continue to work to advance vital pro-life public policies,” added National Right to Life Political Director Karen Cross.
