Surprise, surprise Vice President Harris tells MSNBC that you don’t have to give up your faith to support killing unborn babies

Yesterday we wrote about the tour that pro-abortion Vice President Kamala Harris will be launching— the “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” — which will begin in Wisconsin on January 22, 2024 — the 51st anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision which Dobbs overturned in 2022.

Needless to say, the carefully selected audiences will dutifully applaud when she brags about the Biden administration’s monomaniacal commitment to abortion. Yesterday’s appearance on MSNBC’s “Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” was a sample of the typical soft-ball questions she will be asked on her “tour.”

“I will be meeting with folks around the country of all types of background, by the way, and political party affiliation to talk about the fact that one — most of us agree that one does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held belief to believe that the government should not be telling her what to do with her body,” she said.

Let’s think about that. Ignore that there are two bodies involved and that the one—the defenseless baby–is entirely dependent on the other—the mother–which imposes a moral obligation on the mother, whether she wishes to acknowledge that truth or not.

Ignore that for the Christian that little one is a precious child of God, beginning at the moment of conception.

Ignore for secularists—think of Secular Pro-Life—who stands shoulder to shoulder with people of faith. They say, “You don’t have to be religious to have a problem with killing humans. We welcome pro-life activists, closeted pro-lifers, people on the fence, and anyone interested in exploring the secular arguments against abortion.”

Vice President Harris will babble on using the same talking points she did on Monday:

“Extremists across our country continue to wage a full-on attack against hard-won, hard-fought freedoms as they push their radical policies – from banning abortion in all 50 states and criminalizing doctors, to forcing women to travel out of state in order to get the care they need,” said Vice President Harris. “I will continue to fight for our fundamental freedoms while bringing together those throughout America who agree that every woman should have the right to make decisions about her own body – not the government.”

“Extremists”? Which side fights unceasingly for the “right” to abort a child up until the moment of birth—and many are agnostic on the question of what happens to that baby when she is born imperfect.

We need to pound that truth home in season and out.

The babies—millions and millions of babies—are counting on us.
