TALLAHASSEE FL (March 20, 2023) – SB 300, the heartbeat bill sponsored by State Senator Erin Grall, passed its first committee late Monday afternoon with all committee Republicans voting in favor and all Democrats voting in opposition.
Pro-life Senator Erin Grall defended her bill calling Florida “A Beacon of Hope for those who understand that all life is sacred and must be protected.” “We agree with Senator Grall, that our precious pre-born babies deserve protection” stated Lynda Bell, FRTL president, and spokesperson.
“The pro-life majority in the committee fought off every radical attempt at amending the bill, the pro-aborts on the committee even tried to strip the very funding that would help women,” stated Bell. So much for pretending to care about women!
The Senate Bill has one more stop while the house companion Bill (HB 7) has two more stops.
