A mother who had a change of heart during a late-term chemical abortion and saved her child through an abortion pill reversal brought her child to a recent “40 Days for Life” rally to express her gratitude.
According to 40 Days for Life, the mother, named Karla, was in the midst of the multiple-day-long chemical abortion process when she had a change of heart and wanted to reverse the abortion of her now-born daughter.
While she was told by a local abortion mill that the procedure was too far along to stop, a local pregnancy center was able to help her save her baby after sidewalk counselors brought her in for an abortion reversal.
With the procedure being a success, Karla was able to successfully give birth to her child, recently bringing the baby girl to a 40 Days for Life rally in Escondido, California.
“Karla brought the baby to the [event], allowed us to hold her, and thanked everyone for their prayers and for the help they bring out to the sidewalks,” said a local campaign leader at the event.
Despite Karla’s success in reversing her abortion and saving her child’s life, Planned Parenthood and other abortion organizations continue to deny the efficacy of abortion reversal drugs, saying they “haven’t been proven in reliable medical studies.”
In a blog written by Campaign Life Coalition, the pro-life group takes note of the “irony” that companies like Planned Parenthood, who claim to be in favor of “choice,” discourage the use of abortion pill reversal medications.
“While claiming to be in favor of ‘choice,’ they want women to have no choice once they’ve begun the chemical abortion process,” wrote Shanelle Pettigrue.
“It’s important that pro-lifers are armed with this amazing resource that can potentially save lives and save women from a lifetime of regret,” added the pro-lifer.
