Have you read September NRL News? A great resource to share with fellow pro-lifers!

By Dave Andrusko

Good afternoon! I hope you’ve dug deeply into the September issue of NRL News. On the off-chance you haven’t, let’s talk about just a few of the many stories inthe “pro-life newspaper of record.”

We start with the cover, which reminds us all that the 2022 Mid-term elections are less than six week away! Be sure that you are registered to vote. If you’re not, you can find your state and register here.

On page one, we unwind Planned Parenthood’s latest annual report. Surprise, surprise, they are aborting more children than ever– 383,460 for fiscal year 2020-2021.

Also on page one, we report on Sen. Lindsay Graham and Rep. Chris Smith who held a press conference to announce that they were re-introducing the Pain-Capable Unborn Children from Late-Term Abortion Act. “This bill would protect unborn children at 15 weeks, a point by which science shows that the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods,” said NRLC President Carol Tobias.

On page two, both editorials lay out in detail what will happen should pro-abortion Democrats maintain their grip on the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives. “Vice President Harris lay outs radical proposals pro-abortion Democrats would pass if they gain additional seats in the Senate” is the title of the lead editorial.

On Page 13, we repost a story outlining a big pro-life victory for the right of conscience. “A federal district court has ruled that a

California law violates the First Amendment rights of medical professionals by requiring them to participate in physician assisted suicide against their religious convictions and professional ethics.”

There are also numerous stories about state legislation; about court battles; about the life-saving potential of ultrasounds; and the patently false attacks on the Abortion Pill Reversal technique which has already save over 3,000 babies.

There’s much more in the 42 page edition. I hope this brief overview of just a portion of the issue will whet your appetite to read the issue in its entirety and to share the contents with your pro-life family and friends.
