WASHINGTON — National Right to Life, the nation’s largest pro-life group with affiliates in all 50 states and over 3,000 local chapters nationwide, has endorsed Cynthia Lummis for election to the United States Senate from Wyoming.
“National Right to Life is pleased to endorse Cynthia Lummis for election to the U.S. Senate,” said Carol Tobias, president of National Right to Life. “Cynthia Lummis earned a 100% pro-life voting record during her time in the U.S. House of Representatives. She supports compassionate proposals to safeguard unborn children and their mothers from the pain of abortion.”
Cynthia Lummis served as the representative for Wyoming’s at-large congressional district from 2009-2017 and has a lifetime 100% pro-life record.
Cynthia Lummis supports the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This legislation would protect unborn children at 20 weeks, a point by which the unborn child is capable of experiencing great pain when being killed by dismemberment or other late abortion methods.
Cynthia Lummis supports the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. This Act would require that a baby born alive during an abortion be afforded the same degree of care that would apply to any other child delivered at the same gestational age.
Cynthia Lummis opposes using tax dollars to pay for abortion, and she opposes taxpayer funding of abortion providers.
“Cynthia Lummis will work to see that all innocent human life is protected and she is committed to strengthening a culture of life throughout the nation and in the U.S. Senate,” said Tobias. “We look forward to working with Cynthia Lummis to protect the most vulnerable members of the human family.”
