This comment from a recent Camp Joshua attendee will give you some idea why Camp Joshua is so important.

“While I was convicted in my pro-life beliefs before heading to Camp Joshua as a rising junior in high school, I was amazed at what a week of nationally recognized speakers, scientifically rigorous research, an endless supply of excellent pro-life resources, and good old-fashioned summer camp fun can do. At Camp Joshua I met so many young people, from all walks of life who were as convicted in their pro-life belief as I was and I learned I was not alone in my beliefs.

I learned that the pro-life worldview is based in irrefutable science that seeks to protect not only the pre-born but the elderly, and other marginalized and vulnerable groups. I heard convincing arguments for a consistent life ethic that rejects embryonic stem cell research, euthanasia, and abortion. Camp Joshua gave me the tools I needed to tackle these issues in the real world by providing world-class speakers and scientific research as evidence for the pro-life view. The speakers took the time to answer my questions in personal conversation, and gave me their perspectives on certain issues that I was facing as a pro-life high schooler. I met many wonderful people that week, and recommend it to anyone who wants to cultivate a culture of life.”
