Rhode Island Right to Life’s 2019 Ancora Ultrasound Fundraising Banquet is less than two weeks away. Please visit the event registration page if you can attend or donate.
Please also spread the word, invite friends, or even be a table captain. With your help, we can get Rhode Island’s only Mobile Ultrasound Pregnancy Center back out on the road.
We have an awesome speaker May 30. Here is a little about Christina Bennett who has been active in the pro-life movement for fifteen years.
After graduating college with a degree in Business Communications, she followed God’s call to move to Washington D.C. She became a prayer missionary at the Justice House of Prayer and Bound 4 Life for the ending of abortion. After three years in D.C., she continued her work as a prayer missionary at the International House of Prayer Atlanta. After six years of full-time ministry, she began writing for Live Action News. In addition, her writing has also been featured in Life News, Charisma and LifeSite News. Christina is a member of the National Black Pro-Life Coalition and she served four years as a Client Services Manager at a CareNet affiliated pregnancy center.
Christina currently works as the Communications Director for the Family Institute of Connecticut. She is a devoted wife, stepmother and a licensed Christian minister.
On a related note, a kind volunteer has been contacting churches inviting them to conduct a Baby Bottle Boomerang for Right to Life Services, which operates both Ancora and the Maternity Hope Chest. This awesome and easy fundraiser doesn’t compete with anything else. We are happy when folks return the bottles filled with coins they don’t know what to do with and that nobody else wants.
Anne Phelps is hoping to contact every church in Rhode Island. If you can help, please email her [email@example.com].
