Hoosiers Vote to Send Strong Pro-life Senator to Washington

Mike Braun Will Be Dependable Voice for Women and the Unborn

Indiana Senator-Elect Mike Braun

INDIANAPOLIS – Mike Braun is the winner in Indiana’s U.S. Senate race, unseating incumbent Joe Donnelly.

“The pro-life community felt betrayed by Donnelly, who frequently took positions demanded by the abortion lobby,” said Mike Fichter, Indiana Right to Life President and CEO. “Unlike Donnelly, Senator-elect Mike Braun will stand for our pro-life values in Washington. Indiana is a pro-life state. We’re showing it by having two dependable pro-life voices, Mike Braun and Todd Young, represent us in the U.S. Senate. We look forward to working with Braun to protect children from abortion.”

Seven pro-life individuals will represent Hoosiers in the U.S. House of Representatives. Winning their races are Jackie Walorski (IN -2), Jim Banks (IN-3), Jim Baird (IN-4), Susan Brooks (IN-5), Greg Pence (IN-6), Larry Bucshon (IN-8) and Trey Hollingsworth (IN-9).

The pro-life community is also pleased to see pro-life individuals return to state offices and a pro-life majority return to the General Assembly.
