Post-abortion woman laments she destroyed her only chance of being a mother

A woman who had an abortion wrote:

“I was only 18 at the time and at that time I had no idea that would be my only opportunity to have a child. I did have a few minor gynecological problems and I am not sure if they are directly related to my abortion. A few months ago, at 43, I had a hysterectomy and that is what made me realize that I would never have a child of my own and ruined and destroyed any chance of ever becoming a mother.

If only I had known. . . .”
