Gov. Henry McMaster always has been pro-life. He opposes the use of government funds for abortion and he opposes giving hundreds of millions of dollars of government funds to abortion providers such as Planned Parenthood.
Gov. McMaster supports the South Carolina Law passed in 2016 that bans most abortion at 20 weeks after fertilization when the unborn child is scientifically know to feel excruciating pain.
