Hope you’re not only enjoying but passing along the latest monthly digital edition of National Right to Life News.
We held off publishing until the Senate did what it should have done without fanfare: confirm Brett Kavanaugh as the 114th justice of the Supreme Court. Congratulations to Justice Kavanaugh, and to President Trump, Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) for their courage, persistence, and fortitude.
The 41-page September/October issue brings you the combination of news, analysis, and commentary you’ve come to expect from the “pro-life newspaper of record.”
We began, of course, with full coverage of the Kavanaugh confirmation beginning on page one. Also on page one you’ll find a wonderfully encouraging story of how “Over 500 Babies Born Thanks to Abortion Pill Reversal.”
NRLC President Carol Tobias summarizes just some of the pro-life victories in 2018. This is important to remember as we are only 25 days out from the 2018 mid-term elections.
There are stories that cover the pro-life waterfront. From the lessons learned at pro-life summary camps to a legal triumph over the city of Baltimore which spent millions trying to squelch the free speech rights of pregnancy help centers to the latest smooth operator president of Planned Parenthood to a how-to story about how to use resources from NRLC to ace that research paper for your government class.
No issue of NRL News ever goes out without stories about premature babies who overcame enormous odds and the bravery of their parents. In fact we have two accounts!
And of course since October is Down Syndrome Awareness months, we have stories about families with children with that extra chromosome and a powerful letter from President Trump.
As I said in the beginning, I hope you personally are enjoying this edition]and are sharing it far and wide.
Thanks for your help!
