Pro-abortion House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi
Yesterday we wrote about how pro-life Republicans had run the table against pro-abortionists in four special congressional elections to replace sitting pro-life members of Congress whom President Donald Trump had asked to join his Administration.
Among the “Six conclusions about an all important pro-life win” was that “Not to coin a phrase, but the Democratic Party is in the midst of a full-blown identity crisis.” Put another way, Democrats, virtually all of whom salute when the pro-abortion flag is raised, resemble a circular firing squad.
The self-described “Resistance” includes Democratic members of Congress but also is never satisfied unless the party unleashes a non-stop 24/7 hate barrage against President Trump. Even when Democrats do just that, the leadership occasionally dares to support a so-called “moderate” which makes the loony Left even angrier.
Which led to the incredible statement yesterday quoted in the Washington Post, that the Democratic Party needed more “warriors” and fewer “priests.”

A despondent CNN panel on Tuesday night when pro-life Republican Karen Handel defeated pro-abortino Democrat Jon Ossoff.
Meanwhile there is a growing acknowledgement of the obvious: that just trashing the President proves exactly what their critics charge them with: having no agenda but loathing.
On top of that pro-abortion House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Ca.) can certainly raise money like no one else but is such a lightning rod for fierce criticism that she is like a 500 pound anchor around the ankles of any Democrat not running in an overwhelming Blue area of the country.
And to top it all off, the leadership of the Democratic Party has allowed virtually no one new to join their ranks for forever. And the natives are restless.
The following is a quotation that appeared yesterday in POLITICO’S “Playbook Power Briefing”:
— DEM OPERATIVE QUOTE OF THE DAY: “We no longer have a party caucus capable of riding this wave. We have 80-year-old leaders and 90-year-old ranking members.
“This isn’t a party. It’s a giant assisted living center. Complete with field trips, gym, dining room and attendants.”
Political sclerosis anyone?
Not a good time to be a pro-abortion Democrat fixated on undermining the Trump Administration.
