Are you reading the March digital edition of NRL News?

By Dave Andrusko

Judging by the first wave of emails (and tweets), the answer for many of you is a resounding yes! If you haven’t begun the March digital edition of the March “pro-life newspaper of record”, please do. And, also, please forward individual stories and even the entire issue to your pro-life family and friends.

I think it’s fair to say that this particular edition covers just about every issue of concern to single-issue pro-lifers.

There are several stories about politics–and begins with the upcoming confirmation hearings for Judge Neil Gorsuch, pro-life President Donald Trump’s selection to fill the vacancy on the Supreme Court created by the death of the legendary Antonin Scalia.

We’re also giving you a heads-up, a reminder about the upcoming NRLC convention in Milwaukee, June 29-July first. And there is a review of the New York Times Best Seller, “Gosnell: The Untold Story of America’s Most Prolific Serial Killer,” whose producer, Ann McElhinney, will be speaking at the Thursday evening General Session.

Karen Cross, NRL Political Director, offers a helpful preview of the 2017 special elections. There are many of them (almost all pro-life Republicans) because President Trump chose five to serve in his administration.

Paul Stark offers a keenly reasoned critique of “The gender equality argument for abortion.”

And in an issue filled with powerful personal accounts, none tops the testimony of combat veteran Wayne Cockfield before the South Carolina House Judiciary Subcommittee. Cockfield, who lost both legs in Vietnam, brought a compelling perspective to the hearing about the sheer brutality of dismemberment abortions.

There’s much more in the March digital NRL News. Please read the entire issue and pass it along.
