Evan Bayh supports abortion.
By Karen Cross, National Right to Life Political Director
In Indiana, pro-life Congressman Todd Young (R) and pro-abortion former Senator Evan Bayh (D) are running for the U.S. Senate seat left open by pro-life Senator Dan Coats’ retirement.
While in the U.S. Senate, Evan Bayh voted to endorse Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand. Bayh supports a policy of abortion on demand, which allows abortion for any reason.
Pro-life Congressman Todd Young’s pro-life record contrasts greatly with Evan Bayh’s. Todd Young, who is supported by National Right to Life, is pro-life. He voted to protect unborn children capable of feeling pain, and opposes any effort to weaken pro-life state and federal policies already in place. Todd Young opposes abortion on demand, and opposes using your tax dollars to pay for abortion.
Please, for the sake of the babies, help us keep Evan Bayh out of the Senate. The Democratic Party has pledged to repeal the Hyde Amendment, which would mean taxpayer-funded abortion on demand.
Please make your vote count for the babies.
Vote pro-life. Vote to elect Todd Young to the U.S. Senate.
