A subtle suggestion for us pro-life Americans to help sensitize our culture to the reality of human life: that we celebrate the anniversary date of the day our lives began…
A case in point: this week marks the 70th anniversary of the beginning of my life. I celebrated my 69th birthday in April, and now, three months later, I’m nine months from birthday number 70. But as we pro-lifers understand so well, next April I will actually be 70 years and nine months old — hardly a milestone as significant as the day that marks living on this earth for 70 years!
I would happily trade any “Happy 70th Birthday” wishes from next April for some “Happy 70th Life Day” wishes this week — a much more meaningful milestone in our march to mark the magnificence of human life!
