The theme for the 42nd annual National Right to Life Conventions is “WE the people defending Life.” This is THE pro-life educational extravaganza which begins June 28 and runs through June 30.
If you possibly can, be sure to go to www.nrlconvention.com where you can find all the details about registering for the convention and making your hotel reservations at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City hotel.
But I know, of course, that as much as they might wish to come, not everyone’s schedule allows them to come to Washington, DC in late June. But I also know that pro-lifers everywhere want to help make the educational event of the year a big success.
Here’s how you can help. At the bottom of this story, you’ll find a coupon that explains how you can become a “Patron of Life.” The amounts range from $500 down to $2.00 for youths, and everything in between.
Why is it important that you become a “Patron of Life”? These donations help underwrite the convention expenses. I won’t bore you with the detail, because it’s obvious that a three-day convention, with speakers brought in from all over the country, is very expensive.
But this educational extravaganza is a “must.” It represents a continuing education program for veteran pro-lifers, and a “Welcome to the Pro-Life Movement” for newcomers.
As a small token of National Right to Life’s esteem, the names of all patrons will be published in the NRL 2012 Yearbook. If you wish, you can make the contribution in memory of, or in honor of, another individual.
