We’re ending National Right to Life News Today with a post that combines two abhorrent to the ‘nth’ degree stories. Both showed up in the British publication, the Daily Mail.
The first involves an abortionist who “botched” an abortion and whom a judge ruled must pay for the child’s “upkeep” until he is 26.
Gerald Couzens reports that Spanish Judge Jose Perez Martinez outlined in a written decision that he was making an unnamed abortionist and the clinic pay “after he bungled a termination at a clinic in Majorca.” The abortionist reportedly misread an ultrasound—the baby was not dead.
“The clinic offered to repay her the £320 cost of the abortion and sent her to another centre in Barcelona which refused to terminate her pregnancy because she was past the legal time limit,” Couzens writes.
On top of that, Martinez “ordered them to pay £120,000 in compensation for ‘moral damages.”

The second story is so ghastly, so stomach-turning, I will provide the link and only briefly summarize. The headline is bad enough (but accurate): “The Indian town where female foetuses ‘are being fed to dogs to hide rampant gender genocide.’”
It was already known, according to the Daily Mail, that Maharashtra was the state with the worst ratio of boys to girls in India. Incredibly, last year’s census found that for every 1,000 boys, just 801 girls were born.
The extent of this “gender genocide” was masked because “By keeping dogs, doctors can get rid of bodies without having to dispose of them through official channels,” reported Krishna Kumar. “It means that the true extent of illegal sex-selection abortion in the town–and elsewhere in India– is being hidden.”
How did this shocking revelation become public? Varsha Deshpande of Lek Ladki Abhiyan, a charity working against the practice, “claimed her organisation had conducted a sting operation Dr Sudam Munde in 2010, in which he openly talked about how he was aborting female foetuses and feeding them to his five dogs,” Kumar reported.
As unimaginable as it seems, the story (found at www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2149266/Doctor-botched-patients-abortion-ordered-pay-780-month-childs-upkeep-25.html?printingPage=true) only gets worse from there.
This report comes two weeks after stories appeared confirming that South Korean Custom authorizes had seized thousands of capsules containing human flesh, and that the powdery remains may come from both aborted babies and babies who were killed at birth or left to die (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2012/05/over-17000-capsules-containing-human-flesh-made-from-dead-babies-seized-in-south-korea).
