This week, NRLC President Carol Tobias begins our 10-part series on “Abortion in America,” looking at the history of abortion on demand in the United States. Beginning with the adoption of a model penal code in 1959 by the American Law Institute, we’ll explore the major events shaping abortion jurisprudence leading up to, and including, the election of Bill Clinton in 1992.
