New NRLC President Talks about Annual NRLC Convention in Jacksonville, Florida

By Dave Andrusko

Last Monday National Right to Life  announced that Carol Tobias is our new President (www.nationalrighttolifenews.org/news/2011/04/carol-tobias-elected-national-right-to-life-president). Many of us pro-life veterans have been friends with Carol for well over twenty years, so we know that National Right to Life’s eighth President since the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision will do a wonderful job as a successor to Dr. Wanda Franz.

At the same time all of us at National Right to Life extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Franz for her years of service as President.

I grant you that a video is not the same as meeting someone in person, but if you go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=duXdP-9zEIo&feature=share, you will see and hear Carol talk about the 2011 National Right to Life Convention.

And what a gathering the 41st annual National Right to Life convention will be in Jacksonville, Florida, June 23-25. Carol points out how this annual event brings together grassroots pro-lifers from around the nation to meet with and listen to experts.

Topics include everything from cultivating a relationship with your local media, training the next generation of leaders at pro-life youth campaigns, the always contentious fight at the United Nations, the myths behind embryonic stem cells research, the link between abortion and breast cancer—and much, much more.

Please go to www.youtube.com/watch?v=duXdP-9zEIo&feature=share and “meet” National Right to Life President Carol Tobias. And from there go to www.nrlconvention.com for more information about how you can become part of the pro-life educational event of the year.
