Delaware AG Office Seeks Suspension of Two Physicians Associated with Abortionist Kermit Gosnell

The office of the Delaware Attorney General is aggressively going after two physicians linked to Kermit Gosnell, the abortionist who stands accused of eight counts of murder including seven infants he allegedly killed after they were aborted alive.

The News Journal is reporting that as part of five complains filed Wednesday by Delaware Attorney General Beau Biden, the  AG’s office is calling for an emergency suspension of  Dr. Albert Dworkin and Dr. Arturo Apolinario on the grounds that they are an immediate threat to the public.

“Prosecutors also are asking the state’s Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline to fine Atlantic Women’s Medical Services — which has clinics in Wilmington and Dover — for unprofessional conduct by the two doctors and the clinic’s owner, who has been holding herself up as a doctor despite not having a license to practice medicine in the state,” according to reporter Sean O’Sullivan.

Delaware is involved because in its 261-page report, a Philadelphia Grand Jury found that Gosnell regularly started abortions there that were illegal under Delaware law. For years Gosnell worked one day a week at Atlantic’s Wilmington office.

O’Sullivan reports that “The complaint charges that Apolinario knew or should have known about Gosnell’s actions and reported them.” In its year-long investigation, the grand jury “indicated that despite Gosnell’s long association with Atlantic, the clinic was only able to produce three files for patients seen by Gosnell at the Delaware clinic.

According to newspaper accounts, a pro-life organization also brought attention to the fact that Apolinario was prescribing and dispensing controlled substances at the Delaware clinics even though he had allowed his license to prescribe controlled substances in Delaware to lapse.
