On September 19, 2023, legal expert and NRLC General Counsel James Bopp Jr. delivered a webinar as part of our Virtual Speaker Series that offered invaluable insights on advocating for the unborn.
Since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in June 2022, the pro-life movement has had its share of victories and defeats. There’s been a debate about which laws are best for women in tough situations and protecting unborn babies. With the 2024 election coming up, it’s crucial for pro-lifers to make a winning plan, communicate it well and honestly, and do it all with compassion, which is at the core of our mission.
During the webinar, Bopp explored various issues, such as:
· Aligning policies with public opinion
· Enforcing laws that already exist to prevent abortions, such as laws regarding sexual trafficking
· National Right to Life’s position on issues like gestational bans and “personhood” for the unborn.
