A growing number of legislators have expressed their support for a program that the pro-abortion Democrat Governor Josh Shapiro has threatened to eliminate.
The Pennsylvania Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services programme, ably run by Real Alternatives, has successfully served more than 350,000 women in its impressive 27-year history.
In a decision that is only comprehensible within the context of pro-abortion politics, the Governor has expressed a desire to dismantle the programme that provides assistance and hope to pregnant women in challenging circumstances on a daily basis.
Meanwhile, thousands of Pennsylvanians have been contacting state officials and legislators, urging them to intervene and save the program, which has become a model for the rest of the nation. Indeed, 17 states have implemented programs similar to Real Alternatives, which have proven to be a valuable resource for women and families.
There is a hypothesis that the Governor lacks an adequate comprehension of the program’s fundamental principles. It is therefore imperative that we inform the Governor of the necessity to preserve the programme, which was designated an “essential service” during the pandemic.
Should you wish to express your support for Real Alternatives, we would ask that you contact the Governor’s office. Furthermore, one may contact the Governor via email. Furthermore, you may wish to send him a text message.
Furthermore, if you are a resident of the state of Pennsylvania, you are encouraged to contact your state lawmakers through the Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation website, which can be accessed at www.paprolife.org.
It is imperative that we secure the support of additional legislators who are prepared to take all necessary measures to guarantee the continued funding of Real Alternatives.
