HIGH SCHOOL students were equipped and empowered—and had a lot of fun—at MCCL’s Life Leadership Camp in early August.

Inspiration to make a difference
The annual pro-life summer camp aims to train the next generation of pro-life advocates and leaders. This year’s students learned about abortion, prenatal development, the legislative process, starting a pro-life club at school, and much more. They heard from (among others) Congresswoman Michelle Fischbach, state House Minority Leader Lisa Demuth, pregnancy care center leaders, and Equal Rights Institute’s Emily Albrecht, who showed students how to persuasively make the case for life and engage in conversation with others.

“The speakers have inspired me to be more involved,” wrote one student afterward. Another said: “I would like to volunteer at a pregnancy center and do what I can.”
Join us next year

Information about next year’s Life Leadership Camp will be made available soon on our website at mccl.org/camp, and we encourage parents and students to mark their calendars.
As one student this year put it, Life Leadership Camp “opened my eyes … It was amazing.”
