June digital edition of NRL News now in your in-box

By Dave Andrusko

Well, it’s always nice to get instant feedback. A few hours ago, Karen, my trusty associate, send out the June NRL News. Within an hour we received our first comment. (If you’d like to comment, my email address is daveandrusko@gmail.com.)

This individual zeroed in on Political Director Karen Cross’s “Elections Play Key Role in Pro-Life Effort to Make Abortion Unthinkable” which appeared on page one.  Karen wrote

Step by step, state by state, in Congress after Congress, we are making that happen. But the successful passage of protective legislation hinges upon who is elected to public office. That is why political engagement remains central to our efforts!

He could also have cited Karen’s “2024 Senate Map Presents Opportunities and Challenges for Republicans.” It’s a fascinating overview of a number of competitive Senate races.

But if politics was his favorite subject, there were stories galore. See page 6, 12, 13, 18, 22—to name just a few.

The June issue of NRL News is the last issue before NRLC’s annual convention. We have stories explaining who our General Session speakers are [page 5] and a fine piece by Maria Gallagher of Pennsylvania [page 4] who wrote of how it was “A privilege to host the National Right to Life Convention.” Time’s a wastin’ so sign up soon!

No issue of NRL News would be complete—especially post-Roe—without plenty of stories about state legislation and court decisions. In those realms check out the stories on pages 7-9, 14,  24, and 37—again, to name just few.

We examine pro-abortion President Joe Biden, of course. His influence in felt in many stories beginning on page 2, 6, 11, and 18.

But just as no issue would be complete without a state legislation story, so, too, there must be stories about babies: 14, 17, 19, 21, 38, and 41.

Lots more to get to, which we will do tomorrow. See you then. And down forget to read the June edition of NRL News.
