Biden’s overall approval rating stuck at 40%, president has even lower ratings on his handling of the all-important economy

More gloomy news for the abortion-loving Biden administration. President Biden’s approval ratings are, as they have been for months, deep in the hole. According to a new poll from the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research released Monday, Biden’s overall approval rating is sitting at a dismal 40%.

But there are developments on other front that bode poorly for President Biden, especially on the all-important state of the economy. Fox News’s Anders Hagstrom reports

The poll from the Associated Press and the National Opinion Research Center (AP-NORC) at the University of Chicago found that Biden has just 33% approval when it comes to economic issues…

Only 24% say national economic conditions are in good shape.

Biden is a disappointment even to those people who self-describe themselves as Democrats:

Biden underperforms on the economy even among Democrats: 61% approve of him on the issue, compared with 75% for his job overall.

Put another way, the New York Post’s Josh Christenson writes

An Associated Press-NORC Center poll released Monday found 66% of Americans disapprove of Biden’s stewardship of the economy, including 38% of Democrats and 94% of Republicans.
