How about the annual NRLC Convention?
By Maria V. Gallagher, Legislative Director, Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation
I know where I will be marking the one-year anniversary of the collapse of Roe v. Wade. Do you?
I hope you will consider joining me June 23 & 24 for the National Right to Life Convention in Pittsburgh. The convention is always a spectacular event, but it will have special meaning this year, since it will mark twelve months since the overturn of Roe, the dastardly decision which denied the rights of states to stop the greatest human rights violation of our time.
At the convention, you will be equipped with the tools you need to rebuild a culture of life in your state and in your local community. The convention features workshops galore that will enlighten you about the latest techniques for campaigning for the defense of the most vulnerable among us. You will also have the opportunity to network with pro-life advocates from across the nation who share your passion for protecting innocent human life.
I am also always inspired by the young people who come to the convention to compete in the National Right to Life Oratory Contest. These high school students are on fire for life—and their enthusiasm is contagious. Watching these gifted young orators speak so eloquently about the cause of life renews my faith in the younger generation.
The Pennsylvania Pro-Life Federation is pleased to host this year’s convention, which should prove historic in a number of ways. The event will also show the strength and vitality of a movement which shows no signs of stopping.
As National Right to Life President Carol Tobias has stated, “The diverse crowd, representing every segment of the population, demonstrates what polls have repeatedly shown: that the majority of Americans oppose abortion on demand.”
So consider registering today! You can find up-to-date details at www.nrlconvention.com. I hope to see you at the pro-life event of the year!
