By Kansans for Life
Great news! Two of our KFL priority-bills passed yesterday with bipartisan support.
The Kansas Senate passed the “Kansas Born-Alive Infants Protection Act” by a final vote of 31-9, including every Republican and two Democrats. This bill would provide legal protections for infants born-alive after an abortion — regardless of the intent of delivery.
THANK THE SENATORS WHO VOTED YES
In the House, legislators passed Abortion Pill Reversal Notification Requirements by a final vote of 85-39, including every Republican and one Democrat. The bill would require notification to patients that the effects of a medication abortion may be reversible.
THANK THE REPRESENTATIVES WHO VOTED YES
Because you took action and contacted your elected officials, these bills received bipartisan support in the midst of radical opposition from abortion industry allies.
Thank you for standing with Kansans for Life as a powerful voice for the most innocent among us!
Stay tuned for upcoming alerts to help these pro-life protections become law in our state.
