President Biden rehashes overheated pro-abortion rhetoric on 50th anniversary of Roe v. Wade

Well, as per usual when a pro-abortion Democrats sit in the White House, the annual statement on abortion is dreadfully short on substance, and long (very long) on overheated rhetoric. Which brings us to  “President Joe Biden on the 50th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Decision”.

In 136 words, President Biden bemoans the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision overturning Roe; insists Republicans are “extremists” pushing for a “national abortion ban”; and vows to “continue to fight to protect a woman’s right to choose.” Biden adds “Congress must restore the protections of Roe v. Wade in federal law – it’s the only way we can fully secure a woman’s right to choose in every state,” code for passing the the Women’s Health Protection Act.

Federal Legislative Director Jennifer Popik, JD, summarized the impact of  this wide-open abortion bill as

“invalidating nearly all state limitations on abortion, including waiting periods and women’s right-to-know laws.  It would require all states to allow abortion even during the final three months of pregnancy based on an abortionist’s claim of “health” benefits, including mental health.  It would also invalidate nearly all existing federal laws limiting abortion.”

In addition, in a string of tweets, Biden said “Since then [Roe’s reversal], anti-choice bills have cropped up in state houses across America” to which Biden vowed “Let me be clear: a woman’s right to choose is non-negotiable.”

Can President Biden’s fear-mongering be any clearer?
