Behind-the-scenes contributor retires: worked to ensure that the Keystone State affiliate of NRLC had the technological tools needed to spread the pro-life message

By Maria V. Gallagher, Legislative Director

Today our staff said a celebratory “see you later” to a long-time employee who is now graduating to retirement.

Bill worked conscientiously and tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that our website and the rest of our technology ran smoothly.

For 18 years, he worked to ensure that the Keystone State affiliate of National Right to Life had the technological tools needed to spread the pro-life message.

He performed his work honorably, with integrity and kindness. An immigrant to the U.S., he brought an unparalleled sense of professionalism to his task supervising our information technology.

You may not have known his name, but if you ever visited www.paprolife.org, you have seen his work.

Bill is just one of the stellar individuals I have discovered working in the pro-life movement. They do so out of a sense of mission and a dedication to the most vulnerable among us. They pour out their heart and soul in the interests of helping pregnant women, saving the lives of precious preborn babies, and combating social ills such as doctor-prescribed suicide.

Bill received some parting gifts—but nothing can compare to the gift he gave us. A ready smile when situations seemed bleak…a kindness that brightened the most somber day.

Congratulations to Bill and all those who labor in the vineyard of love known as the pro-life movement. Your dedication and enthusiasm are a precious gift to humanity.
