Let’s Step Up to Help Moms and Babies

A new day has dawned! Roe v. Wade is gone, and unborn babies are now protected by law in Louisiana!
The Supreme Court in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health has reversed Roe v. Wade, restoring to states the ability to protect unborn babies from the violence of abortion. With this decision, Louisiana law should immediately go into effect, safeguarding the right to life of precious children waiting to be born.
We call on Governor Edwards and the Department of Health to enforce our law and tell abortion businesses to cease and desist all abortions.
But, even after Louisiana is abortion-free, we know our work is not done.
Right now, pregnancy resource centers, private and public social services, adoption agencies, and more are ready to walk with moms and help babies. We know we have real solutions available to help moms and babies. But it’s going to take even more from our communities, organizations, and churches to meet the needs of moms and babies. We encourage you to take your next step of service to moms and babies.
For nearly 50 years, Louisiana Right to Life has fought to overturn Roe v. Wade. Thank you to the countless people who have prayed, marched, counseled women, donated funds, volunteered time, stood in front of an abortion facility, and so much more.
Life has won today. Babies are protected. Let’s move forward to protect life and support moms in Louisiana!
