Woman takes abortion pill on live television

Until a couple of days ago, I had never heard of Jex Blackmore.  Once she was published in the [Detroit] Metro Times, it became clear she is a professional provocateur.

In her latest stunt—apparently a surprise to Fox 2’s Charlie Langton–she swallowed an abortion pill.

On her Twitter page, she announced [under the Twitter handle #AbortionPillsForever] “So, I just took an abortion pill on LIVE TV.”

An inquirer asks “Why? Are you pregnant?”

“Not anymore,” she chirps.

According to the  Metro Times’ Lee Devito, “Blackmore says she has previously had both medical and surgical abortions, and decided to take the pill on live TV to show how safe abortion pills are and to help destigmatize them.”

And that’s not all. On her “About Jex Blackmore,” we learn that “Her reproductive healthcare advocacy has ranged from ‘disrupting anti-choice demonstrations’… ‘writing about her personal abortion experience in the viral blog entitled ‘Unmother.’”

And—wouldn’t you know it?—“ [S]he organized the largest Satanic gathering in history to unveil The Satanic Temple’s Baphomet monument in Detroit, which was featured on CNN’s “This is Life with Lisa Ling.”

To raise “awareness,“ Blackmore “partnered with the national group Shout Your Abortion to launch a campaign promoting shareabortionpill.info, a website where people can order abortion pills by mail,” Devito wrote. “The pills are $150 and can be shipped anywhere in the U.S., with financial aid available. The campaign saw 100 posters wheat-pasted around Detroit.”

Of course it was no accident that her stunt coincided with the 49^th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. Pro-abortionists very much fear—and pro-lifers fervently hope—the Supreme Court will use Mississippi’s Gestational Age Act to modify or overturn the 1973 decision.

As for Blackmore, what else can you say except heaven help her.
