Forty-nine years ago this coming Saturday, on January 22nd, 1973, the United States Supreme Court handed down the most atrocious decision in the Court’s history. Roe v. Wade, and its companion case, Doe v. Bolton, condemned to death the unborn children of America. The death toll from these despicable rulings is now more than 63 million babies killed in the tranquil sanctuary of their mother’s womb.
A special commemoration will be held this Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the State Capitol, 2300 North Lincoln Blvd., in Oklahoma City. Speakers will include Catholic Bishop David Konderla of the Diocese of Tulsa and Eastern Oklahoma and Dr. Todd Fisher, PhD, Executive Director of the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.
