The baby’s heart beats twice as fast as ours, at about 150 beats per minute 
. In order to generate heat in the body, brown fat must be deposited. This is a special type of fat that begins to deposit at around this time. Also, by 17 weeks, if the baby is a girl, her fallopian tubes and uterus are fully formed and in place. #40weeks40facts
