Ohio’s pro-life Attorney General Dave Yost, along with 11 other state attorneys general, have sued the Biden Administration over their rescinding of the Protect Life Rule.
The Protect Life Rule, which was put into action by the Trump Administration, strengthened requirements for the Title X program’s federal family planning funds. Under the Protect Life Rule, these funds could not be utilized by facilities that commit or refer for abortions, protecting taxpayer dollars being used to pay for abortions. The Biden Administration however did away with the rule, allowing Planned Parenthood to again cash in on tens of millions of taxpayer dollars.
Although opponents would argue that taxpayer dollars are already barred from being used to pay for abortions, money is fungible. If Planned Parenthood doesn’t have to pay for one line item, that money is then available to be used for something else—including ending innocent human lives.
The Protect Life Rule is a vital safeguard that protects the consciences of taxpayers and saves lives. Please pray that the cause of life will prevail and that Attorney General Yost’s lawsuit will be successful.

Ohio Right to Life is incredibly thankful for Attorney General Yost’s tireless drive to protect life and hold the Biden Administration accountable to the law.
