Please let West Virginians for Life (WVFL) know if you plan to attend the WVFL Pro-Life Convention this Saturday, October 9, at Trinity Assembly of God, in Fairmont. The annual pro-life convention will feature Kurt and Chloe Kondrich, Down syndrome awareness advocates. Their mantra is “Embrace Don’t Erase Down syndrome.” A Teen Day Camp is also featured along with several short but informative presentations, continental breakfast, a luncheon, and appearances from U.S. Representative David McKinley and more elected officials during the luncheon.
In addition to the Kondrich duo, pro-life presenters will include National Right to Life Political Director Karen Cross and Dr. Wanda Franz, President of West Virginians for Life. One presentation will address resources for parents who are given a pre-natal disability diagnosis. Another presentation deals with the Health Care Decisions Act Amendments bill that the WV Alliance for Ethical Health Care will pursue this legislative session. Attendees may leave with a pro-life Will to Live in hand, too.
West Virginians for Life is pleased to have a Teen Day Camp coinciding with the adult convention. Games and education will be provided for them. Among others, Delegates Caleb Hanna and Riley Keaton will conduct a Q&A after speaking to the youth.
