What did you like best so far in the July digital edition of National Right to Life News?

By Dave Andrusko, Editor, NRL News

I would like to thank those of you who have already dug into the 51-page July edition of National Right to Life News “the pro-life newspaper of record” and dropped me a line at daveandrusko@gmail.com.

For those who haven’t, I would encourage you to investigate an issue chock-full of news stories, analyses, commentaries, and educational materials.

Here are some examples of what you find in the current edition.  We posted stories on pages 3, 7, 22-23, 26, 36, and 43-47 about the 50th National Right to Life Convention. Convention Director Jacki Ragan said of the June 25-26 convention, “It was as  close to perfect as any event can be.”

High up on the list of priorities for pro-lifers is preservation of the Hyde Amendment. In addition to a story on page one, we have “A quick 5-point primer on the Hyde Amendment” (page 8), and a  speech by pro-life champion Chris Smith (R-NJ) under the headline “The Hyde Amendment Democrats want to eliminate has saved over 2.4 million lives” (page 16)

If politics is your passion, there is “What Every pro-life candidate needs to know about abortion” (page 4) and “Pro-Abortion EMILY’s List Sets Targets for 2022 Senate Elections” (page 6), both written by Political Director Karen Cross, as well as  “Not much has changed in the abortion debate? Everything has changed!” (page 42).

There any number of heart-warming stories about the power of parental devotion (see pages 13, 31-32,40-41) and another defeat for the phony attempt to resurrect the pro-abortion Equal Rights Amendment (page 19).

There’s much , much to choose from, especially the speech from pro-life Senator Tom Cotton (R-Ark) given at the closing banquet (page 9).

I trust you are working your way through the entire edition and are forwarding stories to pro-life family and friends.

Thank you.
