Mourning More Than 62,000,000 Lives Killed By Abortion
By Benjamin Clapper, Executive Director, Louisiana Right to Life
Friday is Jan. 22, the 48th anniversary of the terrible Roe v. Wade decision that led to the elimination of the lives of more than 62,000,000 Americans through abortion since 1973. We mourn for these precious babies and the lost beauty they would have added to our world.
This Saturday, while we are not marching together, we can STAND together for life and remind our state that abortion is an injustice that kills babies and hurts mothers. It is an injustice that must end.
First, we will have a Roe v. Wade Memorial and Rally on the State Capitol steps from 9-10 a.m. Due to COVID attendance is limited and RSVPs are required! We will broadcast the Memorial on our Facebook page.
Second, pro-lifers across Louisiana will stand together in their communities to spread the pro-life message! We have a list of locations standing for life this Saturday. If you don’t see your location, commit to standing for life in your community and send us your location [firstname.lastname@example.org], so we can share with others. Even if you are standing by yourself, your presence can save a life! Never be afraid to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves!
For a Pro-Life Louisiana.
P.S. We hope you enjoyed our Gala Saturday night! Thanks for the support of all our donors. If you missed the Gala or any portion of it, you can watch a full replay at www.ProLifeGala.com!
