“Coronavirus has proven just how precious human life is”: Project Truth prepares for 2020 ”homeshow”

By SPUC—the Society for the Protection of Unborn Children

Project Truth, a youth-led campaign which brings the pro-life message to the towns and cities of Scotland is gearing up for a 2020 “homeshow” amidst the Coronavirus pandemic.

Eden Linton, SPUC Scotland Youth and Education Officer and Project Truth team member,  said: “There has never been a more vital time to defend human life. The Coronavirus pandemic has taught us just how important it is to protect the most vulnerable. This year through the Project truth homeshow, our team of young people is prepared to do just that by informing the public about the development and humanity of the unborn.”

Each summer, the Project Truth team, consisting of youth members aged between 18-30, embarks on a roadshow around the towns and cities of Scotland. The Project Truth team provides factual information regarding the development of unborn children and discusses how abortion impacts unborn children, their mothers and wider society.

This year’s summer roadshow has been transformed into a summer ”homeshow” in order to comply with the COVID-19 safety regulations.

The 2020 “homeshow” will take place between August 10th and August 14th.  There will be  a range of videos from team members discussing life issues and pro-life apologetics. These will be full of information and people can share them.

“Coronavirus has proven just how precious human life is”

Promoting the “homeshow”, Ms. Linton said: “The 2020 “homeshow” is going to be a fantastic opportunity for our online audience to engage with and enjoy all the information Project Truth has to offer.

“Whilst the Project Truth blue hoodies will not be on the streets this year, the 2020 team cannot wait to inspire and inform our online audience about the humanity of unborn children and harm that abortion causes our society.

“These topics are often shrouded in silence or warped by a pro-abortion society which rejects life and promotes abortion. Whilst the Coronavirus pandemic has  prevented this year’s road-show taking place, it has also proven just how precious human life is, and how as a society we must do all in our capacity to protect it.”
