June digital edition of National Right to Life News filled with must-read stories

By Dave Andrusko

The June digital edition of NRL News Today arrived in your inboxes Tuesday morning. We trust you’ve begun digging in.

The first order of business, I would suggest, would be NRLC President Carol Tobias’ column on page three: “Our Country Needs the Pro-Life Movement  More Than Ever.” In just 555 words, she eloquently illuminates how “The pro-life movement champions the principle that each human life is unique and unrepeatable, that he or she should be respected, cherished and protected.”

Beginning on Page four, the June issue offers several reflections on former Vice President Joe Biden, the pro-abortion presumptive candidate of the pro-abortion Democrat party. Whatever the sincerity of his “moderate” position on abortion, it has long since vanished.

Mr. Biden is just another extremist Democrat. He received the seal of approval from, Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, who said, “We’re pleased that Joe Biden has joined the rest of the 2020 Democratic field in coalescing around the Party’s core values — support for abortion rights…”

We have a number of stories that relate to the COVID-19 virus. I have in mind two of how our Movement has reached out to pregnant mothers during these tumultuous times.

On Page one, “To the pregnant woman in these tumultuous times: Circumstances can change in a baby’s heartbeat”—and Page Twelve–“Pro-life, Pro-woman: Reaching Out to Pregnant Women Facing Challenges.” Both are written by Maria V. Gallagher, a regular contributor.

Just one more reference—in this case to a story that appears on Page eight. “A portrait of an American hero: ‘Created Equal:  Clarence Thomas In His Own Words.’” Justice Thomas is a remarkable man. This review of a documentary about his life makes that abundantly clear.

Please dig into the issue as time permits.
