A local television reporter said there was “a lot of energy and cheers” as pro-life Vice President Mike Pence appeared at a Women for Trump rally in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania Wednesday.
Hundreds of women had turned out to hear the second-in-command speak. His well-received address included a recitation of the pro-life achievements of his boss, President Donald Trump.
First among these was a reinstatement of the Mexico City Policy, which prevents taxpayer funds from being awarded to groups that perform abortions or lobby to transform the abortion laws in host countries. In fact, President Trump actually expanded the policy to block $9 billion in U.S. foreign aid from being used to fund the worldwide abortion industry.
Vice-President Pence readily identified the Commander-in-Chief as being the most pro-life President in history. Indeed, from judicial appointments to his State of the Union address, President Trump has been a bold and inspiring leader for the pro-life cause.
The women (and men) gathered at the campaign event in Camp Hill were enthusiastic in their response to the Vice President’s pro-life pep talk. Despite the claims of the abortion industry, it was apparent that many Pennsylvania women share the Trump Administration’s passion for safeguarding innocent human life.
The television reporter also noted that members of the crowd were thrilled to get “up close and personal” with the Vice-President following his electrifying address. The location was all-important for the Trump team. Pennsylvania will be a key battleground in this year’s race for the White House. In fact, it could be said that, as Pennsylvania goes, so goes the nation.
This fact is not lost on abortion activists. They are ready to spend $45 million dollars trying to defeat our pro-life President—and a good share of that money is expected to be dumped on the Keystone State.
That is why each pro-life vote is so incredibly important in Pennsylvania in 2020. If the Women for Trump rally is any indication, pro-lifers in the Commonwealth are on fire to re-elect the most dedicated pro-life President of our time.
