By Rhode Island Right to Life
In season or out of season, LIFE is always worth fighting for! After their major victory last year, Planned Parenthood and their allies are pressing for taxpayer-funded abortions in Rhode Island like they already have in Connecticut. We need your help to get through the present legislative session, and then to win back the General Assembly during the Tuesday, September 8 Statewide Primary and Tuesday, November 3 General Election.
We need you to join us in the Rotunda of the State House from 3 to 4 pm on Tuesday, January 21 for our Statewide Pro-Life Rally. Please bring a group from your church or school, or at least a few friends! All ages are welcome to this family-friendly event. Metered street side parking is available as well as parking at the Providence Place Mall ($2). You’ll need to pass through security to please allow extra time and bring only what you need to expedite the process. For more information please call the office at 401.521.1860.
Also, folks keep asking us about busses for the March for Life. Please contact Carol Owens, Director of the Diocese of Providence Office of Life & Family Ministries, at firstname.lastname@example.org or (401) 421-7833 x 218 ASAP to see if any seats are still available.
Lastly, the Knights of Columbus Rhode Island State Council will be holding their Annual Pro-life Dinner on Saturday, January 18 at St. John Paul II Parish in Pawtucket. Contact Jim Gilcreast for information and tickets, 401-232 0048 or email him at email@example.com.
