The political arm of the United States’ largest abortion chain once again invited criticism of its own stated values with a tweet recognizing the global Human Rights Day, even as it continues to kill preborn humans for profit.
December 10 commemorates the anniversary of the United Nations General Assembly adopting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR) in 1948, a document that declares that “everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person,” as well as the “right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law.”
Planned Parenthood violates both of those rights by aborting preborn babies and denying their personhood. Yet Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) tweeted a Human Rights Day message Tuesday declaring there should be “no exceptions” to the principle of “human rights for ALL”:
Human rights for 👉🏽ALL👈🏽. No exceptions. #HumanRightsDay

Long settled biological criteria, reflected in numerous mainstream scientific and medical textbooks, establish that a living human being is created upon fertilization and is present throughout the entirety of pregnancy. Steve Jacobs, a recent Ph.D. graduate from the University of Chicago’s Department of Comparative Human Development, recently surveyed more than 5,000 biologists and found that 96% agreed that life begins at fertilization.
Many abortionists and pro-abortion activists and philosophers admit as much, granting preborn babies’ humanity while either claiming that a mother’s “bodily autonomy” trumps a baby’s rights or drawing a philosophical distinction between humans and persons (subjective value claims that pro-life philosophers have extensively challenged).
Many responded by highlighting this glaring exception to PPAF’s support for human rights:
Says the $2 billion-dollar org that violently ends the human rights of over 330,000 human beings every year.

This is not the first time a Planned Parenthood tweet has invited such comparisons. The abortion giant has previously tweeted that “all deserve to life free from fear and violence” and that the annual Holocaust Remembrance Day is an occasion to “remember the tremendous, immeasurable human cost of bigotry.”
